Let There Be Light! invites participants of all ages to discover how lighting transforms concerts, festivals and live events into unforgettable experiences. Guided by internationally renowned lighting designer, Frans Jansen, attendees will explore how light can shape atmosphere, enhance storytelling and elevate performance.
Using state-of-the-art event technology, participants will step up to the lighting desk themselves, programming and designing their own lighting sequence and watching it come to life in real-time visualisations on the big screen.
Frans’ journey began at just nine years old with a hobby disco that grew into a global career touring with pop supergroups and designing epic shows for some of the world’s biggest festivals, including Defqon.1. His passion for creativity, innovation and big ideas fuels this dynamic workshop - and who knows, it might just spark the next generation of lighting designers!
